Rutds Chris Steak House in Parsippany

Yesterday was the first time we went to this place. But It is surely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the superb cooking and booze and with the friendly cost. We will definitely go back there again.

I was in the mood for steak during the quarantine so i decided to order takeout from the Parsippany location. I ordered from the prefixed menu. 40$ for a choice of salad, an entree and a side. I ordered a house salad, garlic mashed potatoes as my side and a steak with shrimp entree. I thought the woman on the phone was super sweet and even guided me thru the menu. I went to pick up my dinner and when i came home i was disappointed with how small of a meal i got for 40$. I honestly expected to get a well filled dishe. Instead i got a small steak, 3 shrimps and a small salad with my mashed potators. I think if i ordered from applebees i wouldve gotten more for my money. Not worth 40$ at all. I took pics. The steaks were ok, and the service was fine. The portions were really small though, especially the sides and the soup we ordered. The salad my wife ate was not fresh. Also we came at 5:30pm, and we were the only ones there when we sat down. The next couple came in, and they were seated right next to us. We were so close that I felt they were listening to us talk. I found this strange since most of the restaurant was still empty. While I’m sure there was a good reason for this, it didn’t enhance our dining experience. All in all it was an ok meal - again, the waiter did a good job taking care of us. That said the meal was not quite worth the $200 including tip that the two of us paid to eat there.

I’ve been here 4 times and never been disappointed. My go-to is their NY Strip because it’s a bit leaner than Ribeye, but both cuts are truly exceptional. The thing that keeps me coming back is their consistency. You know you can rely on a good experience every time you go. The staff is professional and helpful if you have questions.

Worst service ever. I have never been treated so badly at a restaurant. After waiting 35 minutes to get water, my date and I discussed how long we had to wait for water, not realizing the waiter was behind us and proceeded to fill up our cups to the brim, spilling the cold water all over my arm. No sorry. Food is okay nothing special. Steak was good. Was my first time and will not be returning.

Great service and location at the Hilton. Try to make reservations. Food is what you’d expect (really good). They often have great specials.

Great Food and very good service. The wait staff was great and the food here is great if you love your steak cooked with butter. The sides were also very tasty and what you would expect from Ruth's Chris. The location is inside the hotel so go inside the Hilton Parsippany. I like this place better than the Princeton location.

Lovely dining experience... a tad pricey but it is totally worth it. It is a great anniversary or Val day date . Food is so rich 😫😫 and delicious 🤤

Would never ever support a greedy corp that steals money meant for small businesses. Your company should be ashamed of itself...

My steak and appetizer were great. Sone others were tok. But one of our steaks was well done instead of medium rare. When we told them, they replaced it with a medium well one. We let it go because we waited for the food long enough. I gave him some if mine instead. This happened last Thanksgiving also. Also we had to ask several times to get our table ready as it wasn't being cleaned 15 minutes after the other party left and a half hour after our reservation. We eventually had to find the manager.

Really disappointed in my first Ruth’s Chris visit. Bone-in Ribeye was under cooked and a lot of fat and gristle. The potato was excellent. Service was very timely and attentive.

Nice food! Good ambiance as well. Good for small conference/dinners. Service was very friendly as well. Decent vegetarian options as well! Enjoyed my time.

Phenomenal food, spicy shrimp and fried Calamari appetizers were awesome! Everything was amazing! Went there for a birthday and the staff added a few little extras to make it more special.

You cannot dislike Ruth's CSH unless you are a Veggie! Fantastic food! Always 5-Star service. Exquisite is a word that comes to mind😊

Another great meal at Ruth's Chris in Parsippany. Porterhouse and sides were cooked to perfection. As always Hillary made sure everything was perfect for us. She picked the perfect wine to pair with our steak. Topped It off with a cheesecake for dessert. We will be back soon.

We had reservations for 7 at the Parsippany location, we were promptly seated. Miriam was our waiter, she was lovely! The steaks were delicious! The lobster mac n cheese was awesome. The crab cakes were amazing. Anniversary dinner....we will return....

Great steaks but pretty expensive. I had the wine and steak combo in the tavern ($40). Delicious butter topped steak. Service was so-so even though they weren't very busy. Would go again on a date night.

Amazing cocktails and delicious food! Customer service is top notch. Always a great experience! Celebrated my birthday and the little touches like confetti on the table and happy birthday on the dessert plate made it special.

This place is fabulous! I went this month to celebrate a anniversary with my husband! From confetti 🎉 on the table to the glasses of champagne 🥂 upon our arrival, to the rich and delicious steak,sides and dessert, to getting our picture taken to keep as a memory...it was a great way to celebrate and we definitely felt special! Rob was our server and he was top notch! He was polite, gave great food choice recommendations, was very attentive and made sure we were having a great time! Thanks Rob! We will be back!

Superb atmosphere and super welcoming service. The menu was crisp and enchanting. Will clearly recommend this spot to anyone. Fair prices and large meals. Great work.

Place seems to be going downhill. We sat in a booth near Bar which was awful. First a young Lady slipped on the wet floor near the Bar picking up the drinks. Had to tell the bartender that they need to put down a carpet or rubber mat. 15 minutes later a older fell to the ground again. They used table clothes to wipe up the floor. It ruined our birthday dinner.On the positive the Seafood Tower was fantastic, and steaks cooked to perfection.Cheesecake was awesome.Just didn’t seem to care about safety at this establishment. Why would you have laminate wood floors near a bar, bartenders dragging ice to. At, carting drinks back and forth with wet shoes.

First they lost our reservation. Then once seated it was like eating on the subway, all packed together and 3 other tables within less than an arms reach. The appetizer was ok at best. The entree was significantly under cooked and cold to the touch in the center. The sides were like something that had been sitting in a large pot all day that you would get at diner, no chance they were made fresh. Save your money and go elsewhere. I would not recommend Ruth's Chris and or ever go back again.

Consistently worse than they used to be. This is now the third time in a row we've had overcooked steak. I like my steak medium rare and this time explained to the waitress that it had been coming out overcooked so she suggested I order rare to be on the safe side. What I got was definitely not rare and almost medium (in picture). My wife ordered medium and got a steak that was brown that she sent back. For over $40 per steak they have to be better. I'm not sure what good a steakhouse is that can't cook steak. We actually were planning on going elsewhere but couldn't get a reservation so decided to give Ruth's Chris another shot. After the same issue over again we won't be back. A dinner over $200 is supposed to be a treat and enjoyable and this certainly wasn't.

Although it is a bit pricey because alot is sold A La Carte...the food is amazing. If you ever get a chance try the Sweet Potatoe Casserole. It is delectable!! And only $7!! I'd buy it again!

Listen when I tell you....that sweet potato casserole is AMAZING! It is an absolute must have! It was my mother's first experience and she absolutely positively enjoyed herself.

Great Steak Great Service Great Wine what else u do u need?

We have gone to eat at this location over a dozen times for birthdays/ anniversaries and always great. However, last night was not a great experience. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and to start no birthday confetti on the table (have done this in the past and a table next to us had the confetti). The food was great, but service was extremely slow and the waitress was spending a great deal of time chatting at another table and we felt like an afterthought. Also we paid with gift cards and that took over 20 minutes and multiple discussions. Not a great experience and very disappointed.

Rob is the best waiter. Very friendy and polite. Food is amazing. Enjoyed the Cowboy Steak.

Service is top notch. Not only do they ask you how you want your meat cooked but are salt, pepper and butter ok on it. This is great for those not wanting the extra salt or butter. You can have it your way. Many steak places do not do this. I added a lobster tail and it was so sweet, again no need to use the butter. If you love sweet potatoes, the sweet potato casserole was to die for. Stuffed mushrooms appetizer were plentiful and delicious. A great treat for my husband's birthday.

One of the best places to eat in Morris County. Not only is the food prepared impeccably, the service is second to done. Hillary on the wait staff has been catering to my business meals and family meals for many years now. Her attention to detail and uncanny ability to make my table feel at home is a quality that is tough to beat. Not only do I give my highest recommendation for the food, ambiance, & location, but request Hillary as your server for a truly memorable dinner.

I can't even begin to tell you what an amazing time my husband and I had there celebrating our anniversary. We have been there a few times before and they never disappoint! From the ambiance of the table the minute we walked in, to the service and delicious meal & dessert....words cannot explain how phenomenal everything was from start to finish. Had a great meal and a great but unexpected experience. Everything was perfect. Of course the food here is always perfection. Because the portions are so big we shared a seafood platter, Tbone, that was cooked to perfection and asparagus. The waiter had dropped a boat load of rose petals on the table for a romantic affect so anytime any other wait staff or employee walked past past they wished us happy anniversary. It was a very wild and unexpected experience right through to the special surprise that was the staffs gift to us. Thanks for such a great night!

I normally don't give a 5 stars but this meal was one of the best I have had in a very long time.From the hostess to the servers, they were all amazing.Now the food was delicious, my meat was cooked to perfection. I had a nice drink. I would definitely recommend the blackberry margarita.Plenty of parking since it's located inside Hilton hotel.

The steak was nicely cooked, but was a bit bland and could have used salt and pepper during the cooking. By far the best was the octopus appetizer. I would go back just for that!

The food is just absolutely outstanding. The hostess initially said me and my date had to sit at the bar as there was no tables which to a point I get if they are busy, they are busy. But it rubbed me the wrong way, I gotta admit. I don’t go to Ruth Chris with a DATE to sit at the bar. Use a little common sense. But another woman who looked like management I think saw the situation and got us a table quickly without me even having to utter a word or even leave. I was so pleased and impressed. It wasn’t just good customer service but respect. The service thereafter continued to be excellent. 3 different people tended to us at various times and our drinks were never empty and once again the food was just outstanding. Places like this are a treat for me as I can’t do a dinner bill that large more than a handful of times a year but I never regret it when the experience is that good.

Always a wonderful time especially when Hillary is our server. Food is delicious and she makes sure that everything is perfect. Her genuine care for her customers is truly amazing.
